how to leverage the media

After you get featured in the media, whether that’s press, TV, podcasts, or something else, what are you supposed to do?

The first thing I’m going to share with you is what not to do.

Don’t just sit back, relax, and do nothing.

The media you get will not just make you famous on its own.

Instead, you need to take that content and start sharing it with the world.

When you leverage your PR correctly, you get more clients, customers, and cashflow. If you don’t make an effort to showcase your investment, it’s just going to be a waste of money on your end.

So down below are 3 ways that you can leverage your media today.

STEP 1: add it to social media

It’s super simple. Just post a photo or video on social media!

Here are a few different examples of how you can do this:

INSTAGRAM POST - PRESS

FACEBOOK POST - PRESS

LINKEDIN POST - PRESS

INSTAGRAM POST - PODCAST

LINKEDIN POST - PODCAST

FACEBOOK POST - PODCAST

INSTAGRAM POST - TV

STEP 2: add it to your website

Take the logo of the platform you were on, and add it to your website like this:

You can also post actual screenshots or videos of your content as well.

STEP 3: Add it to your emails

If you don’t already have an email signature at the end of your emails, make one and add links to your PR content.

This is a great way for people to see your featured media every single time they talk with you without you rubbing it into their faces.
