4 Ways to Get People to Notice Your Brand
Have you ever noticed that some people, brands, or companies get more attention than others? They might not even be that good, so why are they so popular? The reason is because in today’s day and age, society has become way too overstimulated with information constantly flooding our minds, mostly due to social media. Because of that, attention has become the new currency… The businesses that can hold your attention are the ones that make the money. So down below are 4 tips to get people to notice your brand.
Why does this affect you?
As stated, those that hold the most attention get the most money. How many famous TikTokers do you know of that aren’t even good at singing or dancing? And on the other hand, you might visit LA and see the most amazing musician or singer sharing their talents on the streets. But why is the TikToker more famous than the busker, when the busker is possibly ten or even a hundred times more skilled? It comes down to one thing… Attention. Money will not just fall into your lap. So if you want your brand or business to be successful, you need to intentionally work on gaining more attention, rather than waiting for others to notice you and expect them to just start giving you their money.
1. Leverage social media
Social media is the biggest attention grabber these days. When someone sits down to eat a meal, the first thing most people do now is whip out their phone and start scrolling Instagram or TikTok. What’s great for business owners is that people that are trying to make money now use social media to reach out to potential clients and customers. Social media has turned into a huge networking platform, where you are able to connect with billions of people all around the world whenever you want. This is a major change from how the world and business used to be run simply twenty years ago. So start using social media to your advantage! Like I always say, don’t be a ghost online. Potential customers need to see that you are present online for you to gain their trust. Create a consistent posting schedule, share videos, photos, stories, and testimonials. Check out this blog here to get more ideas on what kind of content you can be posting to your social media.
2. Have your brand written about in the press
Having an article written about you or your brand is one of the biggest credibility boosters you can get. The higher tier you go, the better. Entrepreneurs that are featured in Forbes, for example, often report higher sales and ease of transactions after being featured just once. Check out this testimonial to hear one of our own clients share about her experience of getting into Forbes. Even if you start with smaller articles, simply being written about by a third party can be enough to show the world that you are an authentic, trustworthy person to do business with.
3. Get on TV
Possibly a step up from press is TV. Even though streaming services are more popular to the average consumer these days, getting on TV and posting it on your social media and website is what gives you wins. If you can show the world that you have been on television, you will be seen as the ultimate authority and someone who is worth being listened to. After all, only the most authentic, trustworthy sources get interviewed on TV. Becoming part of this exclusive group will give your brand a huge boost in value.
4. Get on some podcasts
If you want to hold attention for the longest amount of time, get on some podcasts. Podcasts are great because of how personal and in-depth you can get. It’s a great way to hold attention and turn listeners into buyers easily. Listeners of podcasts actually want to listen to you, unlike a random video that might pop up on their social media. Use this to your advantage, as it’s a great opportunity to build meaningful connections with others.
Attention is what brings success
When I first started my days as a magician on YouTube (check me out here), I thought that success came from being the most talented, hard working person around. I put in as many hours as possible, yet I just couldn’t get booked as much as I wanted. I wasn’t making the amount of money that I dreamed of making. It wasn’t until my YouTube channel grew in popularity and I was able to catch the world's attention that my career started to take off. Once I had attention, that was when people started paying me more money, more often. And that’s why I started Ace of Spades Agency… Seeing how powerful PR was in my own career, I wanted to help others experience this same, and even greater levels of success. If attention is what your brand needs, but you don’t know where to start, feel free to book a free call with me here and let’s have a conversation.
