As stated, those that hold the most attention get the most money. How many famous TikTokers do you know of that aren’t even good at singing or dancing? And on the other hand, you might visit LA and see the most amazing musician or singer sharing their talents on the streets. But why is the TikToker more famous than the busker, when the busker is possibly ten or even a hundred times more skilled? It comes down to one thing… Attention. Money will not just fall into your lap. So if you want your brand or business to be successful, you need to intentionally work on gaining more attention, rather than waiting for others to notice you and expect them to just start giving you their money.

1. Leverage social media

Social media is the biggest attention grabber these days. When someone sits down to eat a meal, the first thing most people do now is whip out their phone and start scrolling Instagram or TikTok. What’s great for business owners is that people that are trying to make money now use social media to reach out to potential clients and customers. Social media has turned into a huge networking platform, where you are able to connect with billions of people all around the world whenever you want. This is a major change from how the world and business used to be run simply twenty years ago. So start using social media to your advantage! Like I always say, don’t be a ghost online. Potential customers need to see that you are present online for you to gain their trust. Create a consistent posting schedule, share videos, photos, stories, and testimonials. 2. Have your brand written about in the press

Having an article written about you or your brand is one of the biggest credibility boosters you can get. The higher tier you go, the better. If you want to hold attention for the longest amount of time, get on some podcasts. Podcasts are great because of how personal and in-depth you can get. It’s a great way to hold attention and turn listeners into buyers easily. Listeners of podcasts actually want to listen to you, unlike a random video that might pop up on their social media. Use this to your advantage, as it’s a great opportunity to build meaningful connections with others.
